Born/Started:    1839
Description:    Born in Germany, Edmund Jungfeld studied designing, drawing, and general architecture in Karlsruhe, Munich and Paris, coming to St. Louis in 1864, where he soon opened his own office known as Jungfeld and Company. St. Louis buildings he designed are as follows: American Wine Company, the Bavarian Brewery, and the Columbia Brewery (1891), along with eighteen other breweries.
