Detailed Description:
Architect Thomas Dixon of Baltimore designed Centenary United Methodist Church in 1869. Located at 55 Plaza Square, the limestone building with its 200-foot steeple was one of only two buildings left standing during central city clearance for urban renewal in the 1950s.
