Detailed Description:
Florence Hayward was a journalist and close friend of Kate Chopin.

Hayward was the only woman on the board of directors of the 1904 World´s Fair. She traveled through Europe acquiring gifts for the Fair exhibits. Gifts were obtained from Queen Victoria and from the Vatican.
