History:
With its classically inspired styling, the Cabanne Branch Library is instantly recognizable as a "Carnegie." Built with money from philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, the Cabanne Branch opened on July 27, 1907. The original collection included some 10,000 volumes and consisted mostly of English, Greek, and Latin classics. Today, the collection has grown to over 48,000 volumes.
