History:
Grace United Methodistl Church was founded in1892 by members of Union Methodist Episcopal Church. The church was originally located on Newstead and Lindell, but the congregation moved to its present location on Waterman and Skinker in 1913. The church was disassembled and moved to the present site, stone by stone.

Grace Church is also a founding member of the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council. The church´s sanctuary is noted for its excellent acoustics.
