Name:    Forsyth, William
Description:    William Forsyth was one of the owners of the 1,375-acre property that was acquired by the City in 1874 to create Forest Park. Forsyth and the other owners sold their land to the City for $799,995. Forsyth Boulevard, which runs westward from the western edge of the park, is named for him.
