Description:    William Rumbold was the architect of the Old Courthouse dome, and served as a consultant for the construction of the Capitol dome in Washington, DC. He also designed the Old State Hospital and the first high school. He died of dysentery on October 15, 1867 and is buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
