Description:    The United Drug Company was founded in Boston in 1903 and moved to St. Louis in 1920. Its plant was located at San Franciso Street and Kingshighway. The brand name for its pharmaceutical products was Rexall. The company eventually changed its name to Rexall Drug Company.

At one point, Rexall had 10,000 franchised drugstores in the U.S. and manufactured over 2,300 products, including drugs, candies, and cosmetics.
