Description:    Julius Hunter was the first African American to anchor a daily prime time newscast in St. Louis. He began his career at KSDK-TV, but moved to KMOV-TV in 1974. In 1979, he became the anchorperson there. Hunter has also published books about St. Louis including "Kingsbury Place: The First 200 Years" and "Westmoreland and Portland Places: The History and Architecture of America´s Private Streets, 1888-1988."
