Description:    Archie Moore is a boxer who fought over 200 professional fights and won 141 by knockouts. He was born in Mississippi but came to St. Louis at a young age. Moore became a professional boxer in 1936 in St. Louis and then moved to San Diego. He also worked as a television and film actor and wrote an autobiography titled, Any Boy Can.
