Name:    Anderson, John Richard
Born/Started:    1818
Died/Ended:    1863
Description:    Reverend Anderson was born in Illinois but moved to St. Louis as a child. As a young man he worked for the Reverend Elijah Parish Lovejoy and was an eyewitness to his murder. In 1847 he became the associate pastor of Second Colored Baptist Church and became pastor two years later.
