Brief Description:  The St. Louis Cardinals beat the St. Louis Browns in six games in the "Street Car Series," the Browns´ only World Series appearance. It was also the only series where all the games qwere played in a single ballpark (Sportsmen´s Park was the home field of both the Cardiunals and the Browns). Pitching dominated as the Cardinals defeated the Browns four games to two. The two teams combined to strike out a six-game Series-record 92 batters, 49 by Cardinal pitchers and 43 by Browns hurlers.
