Event: St. Louis Equal Suffrage League Founded Brief Description: The St. Louis Equal Suffrage League was founded in 1910 to promote voting rights for women. In 1910, Mary Ezit Bulkey and nine other women met to organize the St. Louis Equal Suffrage League. The League made attempts to cross lines of color and class when educating the public about the topic of suffrage.
