Event:  St. Louis Real Estate Exchange Chartered
Brief Description:  The St. Louis Real Estate Exchange was chartered in 1877. Twenty-nine firms united to form the Exchange, an organization chartered to "extend the scope, multiply the facilities, promote the activity and elevate the tone and character of the real estate business in St. Louis".
