Event:  Federal Reserve Bank District Established
Brief Description:  In 1913, Congress established 12 federal reserve banking districts. St. Louis became the seat of the eighth district. In 1924, the Federal Reserve Bank moved to the corner of Broadway and Locust. {Century of Enterprise, p. 40]
