Brief Description:  The Model City Agency was established in 1968 by City Ordinance 54772 following local approval of the Model City Comprehensive Demonstration Program (Ordinance 55660) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Don Bourgeois served as the first director, followed by Margaret Bush Wilson.
