  Mo Supreme Court Reverses Dred Scott Decision

Brief Description:  IN 1852, the Missouri Supreme Court reversed the 1847 decision of the St. Louis Circuit Court and ruled that Dred Scott was still a slave. The reversal paved the way for scottĀ“s appeal all the way to the u.S. Supreme Court, which upheld the state supreme court.
