  St. Louis Brownstockings Join the National League

Brief Description:  Organized in 1875, the St. Louis Brownstockings baseball team joined the National League in 1876. The team was owned by John B. C. Lucas and went 45-19 its first year, finishing in second place, four games behind Chicago. George Washington (Grin) Bradley recorded the league´s first no-hitter.
