Event:  Downtown Mall Area Blighted
Category:  Planning and Development
Brief Description:  The area bounded by Broadway, Market, Chestnut and 20th Street was found to be blighted and in need of redevelopment by the Land Clearance and Redevelopment Authority. LCRA Commissioners recommended that the Board of Aldermen take official action to declare this area blighted.
