List of Important Dates and Deadlines
To avoid penalties and added fees, it’s important for taxpayers to meet the deadlines for all taxes due to the City of St. Louis. To see a detailed list of many dates and deadlines related to paying taxes, please click on the links below.
Earnings Tax
There are many deadlines for individuals and companies to file Earnings Taxes. Full individual Earnings Taxes are due by April 15th of each year.

For Monthly Withholding, Form W-11 is due on the 15th of the month following the period it is for. Example, May withholding is due June 15.
For all other taxes, ie E-234 and E-8 (business returns), due dates depend on the dates of the fiscal year. Please call the business section for exact dates.
Real Estate Tax
All real-estate taxes are due by Dec 31 of each year. Properties are re-assessed by the Office of the Assessor every second year (odd-numbered years). Re-assessment notices go out around the middle of May.
Personal Property Tax
All personal Property Taxes are due by December 31st of each year. File your declaration form with the Assessor's Office by April 1st of each year, or be subject to a 10% penalty.
